Attendance Dues

Attendance Dues are the compulsory charge which you legally commit to pay when you enrol your child(ren) at Nelson Christian Academy. They pay for the development of new school facilities, compliance costs, mortgages and insurances. Dues are invoiced at the start of the school year however a payment plan can be arranged allowing payment in regular instalments throughout the year.

For families with one or two children attending NCA at the same time, the Dues for each child are $172.50 per term, which equates to $690 per child per year (including GST).

For families with three or more children attending NCA at the same time, the Dues for each child are $162.50 per term, which equates to $650 per child per year (including GST).

Special Character Contribution

The SCC is our primary source of funds for implementing and providing resources for that align with and support the school’s Special Christian Character.

The Special Character Contribution (SCC) is $160 per family. This can be paid in instalments throughout the year or as one payment. Payment of this voluntary contribution is a Charitable Donation eligible for a 33.33% rebate.

Activity Costs

To provide our students with a wider range of optional learning activities outside of the classroom (EOTC), you may be asked to make a donation towards these activities if you wish your child to participate.

Preference Enrolment

Preference Enrolment is given to students whose Whānau are connected to a local church and or have a personal faith in God.

Non-Preference Enrolment

Non-Preference Enrolment is given to students whose Whānau value the Christian Character of NCA but are not connected to a local church or have a personal faith in God.
